JESUS IS THE VINE!

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches (John 15:5). This shows how God has used Jesus to bring everything in heaven and on earth together (Colossians 1:20).

To really understand this, it helps to look at how a plant grows. Imagine a seed in the ground. For it to grow and produce branches or fruit, it needs the soil. You can think of Jesus as the soil and believers as the branches. Just as a plant cannot grow without soil, we cannot do God’s will or live a fruitful life without Jesus.

Because of what Jesus did, the blessings promised to Abraham are now available to everyone. By having faith in Him, we receive the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:14). The Bible explains that these promises were made to Abraham and his “seed”—referring specifically to one person: Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:16).

Since we belong to Jesus, we inherit those same blessings (Galatians 3:29). If we imagine ourselves as a tree, the “fruit” the soil produce represents these blessings. This includes things like multiplication, abundance, fruitfulness, dominion, victory, and the “fruit of the Spirit,” (Gen 1:26, 28, Rev 12:11, Galatians 5:22-23, Deut 28:1-14).

Stay blessed🙏
