Natural science like Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are known for their timely accuracy in findings. The reason behind the accuracy of these subjects is because God has spoken and blessed man to have dominion over the works of His hand (Genesis 1:26).
Man’s ability to create and be accurate in natural findings, is as a result of the supernatural wisdom embedded in man, as man was created in the image of God with great capability of imagery, vast thinking and speaking the Word into existence.
A scripture that reference man’s capabilities can be found in the story of the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9). God aborted their plans by giving them different languages to cause confusion, as God saw that the thoughts of their heart would have been accomplished (Genesis 11:6).
If man can be accurate in His findings how much more accurate is the Spirit of God. The spirit of God is the source of everything we see in our environment today (Genesis 1:1-31).
When we are led by the guidance of the Holy Spirit He speaks to us directly from the Word of God. Additionally, the Holy Spirit speaks to us according to the will of God, which may not make sense at first but is always accurate.
A good example in scripture to demonstrate this, is when the Holy spirit spoke to Philip the Evangelist to go to the road between Jerusalem and Gaza. The scripture refers to this road as a desert. If we use our human and sensual abilities, one will question what can be found in the desert that can be meaningful?
Philip exercised faith and proceeded to the road and met an Euthopian Eunoch which he led to Christ and baptised him with water, according to the will of God.
We must know that God will not speak outside of His purpose or will.
*What is it that God is speaking to you about that doesn’t seem to make sense?*
Another incredible example in Scripture regarding the accuracy of the Holy Spirit is, when Paul had an encounter with Jesus on His way to Damascus and was told to go to the house of Judas in the city. The same Spirit of God went to Annanais and gave him directions to a street called ‘straight’, where he would meet a man called Paul of Tersus (Act 9:11). Paul received his sight and got baptised when he met Annanias.
*Has God spoken to you on how to navigate through a difficult/challenging situation but you doubted that God is accurate like a Physicist and Mathematicicians?*
The angel of the Lord spoke to Cornelius and instructed him to request for Peter to visit him, and revealed that Peter was in Joppa living with Simon the tanner in a house next to the seashore (Acts 10:5-6). The spirit of God revealed to Peter in a trance, that three men sent from Cornelius will come to his house and he should follow them.
The Holy Spirit is the only source that can help us in our Christian journey. He is accurate in what He does and the scripture refers to him as a person that works within the Word of God, which is sharper than a two edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit and between joint and marrow (Hebrew 4:12). The Word of God is also the Spirit of God (John 6:63).
Whatever circumstance we are experiencing, either pleasant or unpleasant, it can only be navigated by the help of the Holy Spirit. Holy is Spirit is the eternal promise given to all believers to help us live a fruitful life here on earth.
