The scripture says Anger is an act of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-20)
To overcome anger a believer must practice to walk by the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
Anger is from our human emotions (The Soul; Ephesians 4:26). We must be rooted in the love we have in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit in order to overcome anger (Ephesians 3:17)
We must renew our mind with the love of Christ and practice walking in love so it can extend to our emotions (Hebrew 5:14). _For example: seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit regarding what triggers your anger (I.e. your spouse, people’s comments, bad drivers) and yield to the Holy Spirit by responding to those triggers with love._
Do not entertain anger in your marriage.
Be your brothers keeper in whatever environment you find yourself in.
Remember you can do all things through Jesus Christ (Philipians 4:13).
