How to stay in faith with Jesus Christ

One of my greatest challenge is how to keep my faith alive & believe that truly the blood of Jesus has cleansed me.

The reason behind this doubt on my mind is that, most of the time I hear the blood of Jesus has paid the price for my sins without a pause to think how did this happen?. I see myself accepting what I hear most of the time rather than having a personal revelation.

This evening, I will unfold the mystery behind the blood of Jesus.

Brethren, firstly the blood of Jesus has many benefits to us as believers in the aspect of:

1. Cleansing of our sins

2. Fellowship with Jesus

3. Healing

4. Protection

5. Power & authority over the enemy

Here is a simple truth about the blood and how to keep our faith alive in his blood. We all know that Jesus was crucified on the cross of Calvary. We understand that before crucifixion Jesus suffered under Pontius Pilate (Roman governor). We also know that, there were massive disputes between Pilate and Caiaphas (Jew high priest) and the Jews.

Caiaphas and the Jew wanted Jesus to be crucified but Pilate said Jesus had not done any wrong. They ended up casting a vote between Jesus and Barabbas on whom to crucify. Jesus was later declared to be crucified over Barabass.

The truth is that, the verdict or sentence by Caiaphas and the Jew did not cause the death of Jesus, rather Jesus chose to ‘lay down his life’ for Caiaphas, Jews and all of mankind.

Here is a simple truth on how to increase our faith in the blood of Jesus with the scriptures. According to *John 10:17-18 Jesus said “my father loves me because I laid down my life, that I may take it again. No one take it from me, but I lay it down myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from my father”.

The moment we realise that Jesus has the power to lay down his life and he also has the power to take it back again; that should trigger our consciousness that genuinely he made a choice to lay down his life for us as believers and consequently this should increase our faith as believers.

Stay blessed and encouraged all.
