The moment we are born again, we have received Jesus in the person of the Holy Spirit, in our spirit man (Galatians 2:20); because our spirit has been regenerated through the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7).
As a result, sin no longer has a hold on us anymore, as the power of sin was destroyed through the cross (Romans 6:6).
The nature of sin (Satan) that entered mankind through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, has been terminated by the blood of Jesus (Gen 3:6, Rom 8:2).
You are now the temple of God (1 Cor 3:16) because the spirit of God dwells in your spirit man (1 Cor 3:16).
Therefore, you now have the nature of God which is the nature of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control (Gal 5:22).
