1 CORINTHIANS 1

Divisons among the chruch of Corinthians. They were saying i am baptised of Cephas, of paul. So as christ been divided into parts?

Paul went ahead to let them know that God chose the lowlies of this world to despise the intelligent. Also, he said Christ is the power of God in Christ Jesus who had become righteousness, holiness and our redemption.

Wisdom of man to the wisdom of God. Jews and greeks earthly wisdom thinks the gospel is foolish and God as shame the wise to choose the foolish things to shame the wise as foolishness of God is greather than the wiseness of man. The gospel is power and the wisdom of God.

1 CORINTHIAN 2

Paul confirms the reliance of the holy spirit rather the wisdom of men.

1 CORINTHIANS 3

Laying down the wisdom of this world for they are foolish to God. leaving behind every lusy of the flesh and be united with Jesus.

1 CORINTHIANS 4

We should not judge as as God is the only Judge. Corintbians and believers must not learn what is outside what the apostles has taught. We should be imitators of paul thats why He sent Timothy to remind of Paul message.

1 CORINTHIANS 5

Do not associate with sexually immoral Christian. For someone in the church of Corinthians having an affair with his fathers wife. This message is passed to the believers in Corinthians to avoid anyone indulging in sexual immoralities.

1 CORINTHIANS 6

Believers should not take each other to lawsuit to be heard by an unbeliever. Dont you know believers will judge the world and the angels. it seems there was a lawsuit among the saints in the church of Corinthians.

Our body is the temple of God and we must flee sexual immortality. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

1 CORINTHIANS 7

Flee from sexual immoralities in marriage. A believer who marries an unbeliever should not  divorce unless the unbeliver want to leave. In doing these their children is also holy because of the believing brother or sister. Whether circumscised or uncircumcised what matters is keeping the commandment of God.

Paul advised an unmarried man or woman or a virgin not marry as they will face challenges. Because an un married person or a virgin is thinking of how to please the Lord in his/her body and spirit and the married woman is thinking of wordly things of how to please his wife or husband.

1 CORINTHIANS 8

Do not let what you eat cause a believer to sin. If meat or food you eat causes a believer to sin i will not eat such meat again Paul said.

1 CORINTHIANS 9

Paul said anyone who preaches the gospel must eat from the gospel as the Lord commanded but Himself and Barnabass work hard in other not to be a burden. Thos who compate train to win a prize and we train to bring our bodies under our subjection.

1 CORINTHIANS 10

Learn from our forefather who eat manna and drink from the rock that follow them (Christ) in wilderness who because of sexual immoralities, idolatry (unbelief) perished in wilderness.

Do not partake in food sacrificed to demons as Pegan does. Believers as many are body of Christ. You cannot eat the body of Christ and also part take in food sacrificed to demons.

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot take part in the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

1 CORINTHIANS 11

Man is the glory of God and woman is the glory of man. But, man and woman are not independent of eachother. Woman to cover head when praying.

Divisions at church because of the body and blood of Christ. Some eat with hunger and some gets drunk without waiting for eachother.

1 CORINTHIANS 12

We have different spiritual gift from the same spirit of God. Some are apostles, prophets, teacher and more. Analogy of human body and its members were used to describe how we believers are in Christ. Also, we that are many are baptised into the body of christ. We are individually and collectively members of the body of christ.

1 CORINTHIANS 13

The great of all is love. if you prophecy with all hidden mystory and have faith that can move mountain but no love is nothing. Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 CORINTHIANS 14

pursue love but seek spiritual gift. speaking in tongues edifies the one who speak. But prophecy edifies the church. The one who prophecy is greater than the one who speak in tongues without interpretation. Aspire to to prophecy because it edifies the church.

1 CORINTHIAN 15

some say there is no resurrection and Paul said if tbere is no ressurection then Christ death is futile. Do not be deceived when a seed is buried it brings a new life. So, we have a earthy body made from the dust and we have also a heavenly body. Death is swallowed when the trumpet is blown and we the dead is raised with their immortal body and we that remain will be transformed into the imperishable and death is swallowed. Hallelujah!

1 CORINTHIANS 16

Pauls greetings to the Corintbians and admonish them to continue in faith and operate in love.

2 CORINTHIANS 1

let us draw comfort from our Lord Jesus in times of tribulation. God is a God of yes and amen. This chapter teaches us on how to rely on God not our human wisdom.

2 CORINTHIANS 2

it seems like someone caused apostle Paul sadness that also transpired to the Corinthians. So he admonish Corinthians to be forgiving so that Satan do not take advantage. We are aroma of Christ to God.

2 CORINTHIANS 3

This chapter continue to encourage us not to rely on our human wisdom but to rely on God. It also point out that if the old covenant comes with glory how much more the glory of the new covenant? The only way the isrealistes hardened heart can receive is through Christ because where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.

2 CORINTHIANS 4

Paul said we experience trouble on every side but not crushed. meaning they went through difficulties. Always carrying in our body the death of Jesus Christ so also the God that raised Christ we raised us up with him. He also mentioned that the things we see now are temporary while the things we dont see are eternal.

2 CORINTHIANS 5

We must always make it an ambition to live for the Lord either we are or not in this earthly tent. So, we must  aknowledge that God draw us all to himself through Christ. He made a sinless man to carry the sin of all and made us to have righteousness of God through Christ. When we are in Chriat we are new creature old things has passed away everything has become now.

2 CORINTHIANS 6

Do not be yoked with unbeliver for what patnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness and what fellowship is there between light and darkness? what harmony is there between Christ and Satan? For what fellowship is there between the temple of God and temple of Idol? for we are the temple of God.

2 CORINTHIANS 7

Avoid anything that could defile the body and the spirit. But in reference to God submit yoir body and spirit.

2 CORINTHIANS 8

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that you by his poverty could become rich. The one who gathers much do not have much and the one who gathers little do not receive little.

2 CORINTHIANS 9

Paul still continues with giving in this chapter. My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver.

2 CORINTHIANS 10

Paul addresses the Corinthian that the weapons of his wareful are not human but tbrough God. To even punish every act of desobedience after our own obedience. Paul is also commending us here not to rely on tbe flesh but Christ.

2 CORINTHIANS 11

Pauls concerns with Corinthians for those that consider themselves super apostles fake and tickling the ear of Corinthians with fake gospel. paul also describes is suffering for Christ through the gospel.
