THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE
The spirit realm operates on spiritual laws and principles created by God (Joshua1:8)
These spiritual laws and principles binds everything that is invisible and visible together because what we see in the physical realm starts from the spiritual realm (2 Corinthians 2:18).
We must acknowledge that SIN is a law (Romans 8:2), and the law of sin is what influences our human flesh (Romans 6:24).
The scripture shows us that the spirit and flesh are contrary to each other, and they are constantly in opposition (Galatians 5:17).
Let us look into scriptures that prove the existence of the law of the Spirit and SIN. In regards to the law of sin and death, Adam and Eve were the channels in which SIN entered mankind (Genesis 3:6). This started when Eve saw that the fruit was pleasant to the eyes and desirable to make one wise, and she took of it and ate (Genesis 3:6). Eve saw the fruit with her eyes, and what she saw was processed in her thoughts/imagination, which influenced her human WILL to disobey God by eating the forbidden fruit (2 cor 10:4-5, Genesis 3:6). Adam and Eve yielded to the law of sin and death, which resulted in rebelling against the instructions of God (Romans 8:2).
In regards to the law of the Spirit of life, Jesus is our perfect example (1 Peter 2:21). Jesus obeyed God even to the point of death throughout his time on earth (Philipians 2:8).
The scriptures reveal that the first man (Adam) became a living being, and the last man (Jesus) became a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). I encourage you to fix your gaze on Jesus in your Christian walk.
For the power of sin is broken through our Lord Jesus, and sin has no dominion over you anymore (Roman 6:14).
Therefore, brothers and sisters walk according to the Spirit, and you will not fulfil the desires of your flesh (Galatian 5:16).
Submit to the Holy Spirit and let the Holy Spirit direct you so that your behaviour reflects the fruits of his presence in your life. Then it will be evident that the power of sin has been broken through your intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Stay blessed and be encouraged
