The gospel of the good news is the wisdom and power of God revealed in Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).
For almost four thousand years before the advent of Jesus Christ, Israel were observing rituals for the atonement of their sin. The scripture reveals that the Gentiles were with no God during this time (Ephesians 2:11-12).
God in His mercy through His foreknowledge before the foundation of the earth made provison for me and you to be chosen in Christ for those that belief (Ephesians 1:4-5).
The manifestation of Gods power through the gospel of good news came to reality when angel Gabriel descended to earth to deliver the message of the birth of Jesus Christ to Mary (Luke 1:26-28). Shortly after that divine message, mary was pregnant and later gave birth to Jesus Christ our Lord.
The question here is why did God chose believers in Christ before the foundations of the earth?
It was a crirical time two thousand years ago for God so love the world to send His son to redeem mankind from dead works. Jesus came to redeem mankind from their sin and unites both the Jew and Gentiles into one God.
