The Gospel of the Good News is the evidence of the power of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Before the world existed, God had spoken His Word that believers will be united with God through Jesus.
_Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love_
*Ephesians 1:3-4 NKJV*
The focus of this message will not be about the origination of Sin through Satan, when Eve ate the forbidden fruit because of deception.
Rather, the focus of this message will be on the power in the blood of Jesus.
The scripture let us know that _the Word became flesh and came to live among us. Jesus is the word that was later manifested as a man that lived among us_ *(John 1:14).*
The moment we are born again, the spirit of a man is automatically reunited with the Spirit of God through the power of the Holy Spirit *(Ephesians 2:22).*
*How you may ask?* Jesus was a sacrifice sent on earth from God for you and I, to die so that the blood of Jesus will be shed and be a sacrifice for the atonement of our sins *(Ephesians 1:7).*
God is a Spirit and those who worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth. In order for God to reconcile us back to Him in Spirit, he required the blood of His son Jesus to be offered as a sacrifice, so that it could be a sweet fragrance to him for the atonement of our sins.
The scriptures helps us to understand that Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. God placed his power and wisdom in the person of Jesus and sent Him to the world to be a human sacrifice for you and I.
_Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works_
*John 14:10 NKJV*
It is important to be aware that Jesus came on earth for our sake and the sake of the world. The blood of Jesus was the only way the assignment for man to be reunited back to God, could be accomplished. Jesus had to come in the flesh because his Spirit cannot produce blood. For blood to be shed, God sent Jesus in a human body and purposely put His Spirit in his body, which made him 100% spirit of God and 100% man.
Blood is very important to God which is emphasized in the Old Testament. The people of Israel had their sins atoned using the blood of animals *(Leviticus 16:11-17).* The priest was a mediator between God and man to intercede for man so he can be cleansed from his sins. The priest would enter the most sacred part of the Temple of God called “Holies of Holies”, with animal blood and would sprinkle it on the mercy seat inbetween the two Cherubims, where God dwelled. When the priest shedded the animal blood on the mercy seat, it ascended to God as a sweet fragrance and this was a sign that their sins have been forgiven. This happened once a year for the cleansing of the sins of the Priest and the Israelites.
Fast forward to the New Testament, Jesus was nailed to the cross and at the ninth hour Jesus yelled with a loud voice and voluntary surrendered His Spirit. Immediately the curtain of the Temple split into two, which was a sign that the physical Temple and animal sacrifice was no longer in existence *(Matthew 27:50).*
When we communicate to God, we must use the name of Jesus and His blood. For example, a computer works based on the input and output. Whatever you type into the computer using the keypad, is what you will see displayed on the screen. You could type in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, German or other Languages. Regardless of the language, the computer works the same way. Now, whatever is inputted in the computer is coded and then coverts whatever language you typed into the system into the language the computer understands (coded language). The computer language functions similarly as the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is the language that converts our words in prayer, as a sweet fragrance to God.
_For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing_
*2 Corinthians 2:15 NKJV*
From this example, it is important for believers to communicate to God in prayer through Jesus and most importantly by His blood.
Jesus was a sacrifice to God for us believers and It is very mandatory for believers to constantly have this truth embedded in their mindset (Heart).
Some believers ask questions like; how do I believe in God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit at the same time when they are the same?
The answer is straightforward. We are all created in the image and spiritual likeness of God *(Genesis 1:26)*. You must have a strong belief that from the beginning of time, God’s plan was for mankind to be united with him through the blood of Jesus as a sacrifice *(Ephesians 1:3-4).*
Believer must understand this hidden mystery that has now been revealed through Jesus mission on earth; Jesus mission and the presence of the Holy Spirit are all demonstration of the power of God. The message of the Good News is the Gospel of Jesus demonstrating the power of God *(Romans 1:16).*
God sent His son to the world *(John 3:16)* to be a sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins for we who believe in Jesus. Our belief is very important; God wants us to believe and be fully assured that Jesus came in person for you and I as a perfect sacrifice and have faith in what Jesus done for us, through the power of God *(2 Corinthians 2:15).*
_Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me_
*John 14:6 NKJV*
Stay blessed and be encouraged.
