YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM.

It is mandatory for every Believer of Jesus Christ to have the consciousness that they are a spirit that lives in a body and posses a soul (Gen 1:26; Gen 2:7; 1 Thess 1:23).

When we made the decision and confessed Jesus as our Lord and personal Saviour, our spirit man received a new life through the blood of Jesus (Lev 17:11).

Jesus’ cruxifixion, death, burial, ressurection, ascension, and positioning at the right hand of God are all unique experiences we go through in our spirit man (Gal 2:20, Matt 27:50, Matt 27:59-60, Matt 28:5-6, Luke 24:50-51, Eph 2:6).

How?

When Jesus was crucified, we were also crucified with Him (Galatians 2:20).

When Jesus died, our spirit man died with Him from dead works (Matt 27:50).

Romans 6:3 NKJV

Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

When Jesus was buried, our spirit man was buried with Him from dead works (Matt 27:59-60).

Romans 6:4 NKJV

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

When Jesus ressurected, our spirit man was ressurected with Him into a new life (Matt 28:5-6).

Romans 6:5 NKJV

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

When Jesus ascended into heaven, our spirit man ascended with Him (Luke 24:50-51).

When Jesus was seated at the right hand of God, we are also seated in heavenly places, far above all powers in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).

We must have the consciousness that we have died with Jesus, and when He rose from the dead we also rose with Him. Death no longer has dominion over Jesus; similarly death no longer has dominion over you & I (Rom 6:8-9).

Jesus died to sin once for all, and the life that He lives, He live to God. Therefore, every believer must reckon themselves dead to sin but alive to God through their union with Christ (Rom 6:10-11).

It is important to acknowledge that we can only achieve all the above through the power of the Holy Spirit in us (Gal 5:16).

Stay blessed
