You are created in the likeness and image of God (Gen 1:26).
The Word of God is your identity as the scripture confirms that you are in Christ because the Spirit of Jesus dwells in your spirit (2 Cor 5:17).
Jesus Christ is The Word of God as the scripture says “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God” (John 1:1-5).
When you look into the mirror, you can see your body. Similarly, the mirror of your spirit is the Word of God.
It is important to know that whatever that is speaking in your mind or your thoughts, that is not aligned with the Word of God, is not your identity but deception (2 Cor 10:4-5).
The scripture let us know that we should not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:2).
Renewing your mind with the Word of God allows your identity in Christ (Word) to illuminate your mind to shape your thoughts, decision-making, emotions and direct your path while on this earth.
