Ephesians 3:16 NKJV[16] That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.
This scripture emphasizes that your spirit man is empowered by the Holy Spirit who lives in your spirit. When your spirit is empowered by the Holy Spirit, it allows you to take total control of your soul and your body (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
It means you will be able to quickly discern any invasion in your soul and your body by the enemy. An invasion could be the enemy looking to defile your spirit man by projecting his nature into your soul or even your body.
Examples of his nature are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, untimely death, sickness and disease (Galatians 5:19–21, Romans 6:23).
When you are strengthened by His Spirit in your spirit man, it means you will be able to discern and reject all these deceptions (curses) and be able to release and work in His blessings through His Spirit that indwells you (Galatians 3:13).
