Scripture teaches us that Jesus is our perfect example (1 Peter 2:21).
He has left us an example to follow: as He went about preaching the gospel, so too are we called to walk in His steps. This same Jesus, through His blood, is also God’s wisdom to reconcile humanity to Himself (Matthew 4:23; 2 Corinthians 5:19).
In 2 Corinthians 5:19, Scripture declares that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. Now, you have been redeemed, and the Spirit of God lives within you.
Are you allowing God to work through you—as His chosen vessel—to reconcile the people you encounter: at your workplace, in the park, on the train, on the bus? Are you sharing this truth, that even those already saved may grow deeper in their relationship with Him?
We must understand that the ministry of reconciliation is God’s primary purpose on earth (2 Corinthians 5:19).
